Another racing season reaches the end for our team with our participation in the international fuel efficiency competition, Shell Eco Marathon 2024 for the 14th time.The competition was hosted in Circuit Paul Armagnac in Nogaro, France on 19-24th of May. The reduction of the weight of our vehicle, Pyrforos III, as well as the optimization of the electrical subsystems constituted the prime targets and challenges of this year’s season. We accomplished the significant reduction of 17% on the total weight of our vehicle, compared to s’23 data, while at the same time we organised and upgraded our low and high voltage electrical subsystems. Our paddock, once again this year, attracted the technical and safety supervisors of the competition, participants from other teams and plenty of visitors. Great appeal and interest was developed towards our team’s research on high efficiency power systems together with our organised working tactics and safety methods.
